3 Mistakes to Avoid When Renting Wedding Linens

Wedding linen rentals are not necessarily at the top of the list when all the wedding planning steps are put together. The very thought of planning a wedding can make the minds of brides wild pour with visions of that special day.  Every little detail is nitpicked and examined by the bride to be attempting to make sure that the wedding is as close to perfect as possible. Because of the incredible amount of things that need to be taken into account, it’s easy to forget about something that does not immediately pop into your mind such as selecting wedding linens for your reception or pre ceremony dinner.

Wedding linens typically feature tablecloths, napkins and chair covers, all important aspects of the design of the wedding reception. What can happen, however, is a lack of preparation. Because of the excitement and multiple details surrounding the event, often times brides and/or wedding planners don’t take enough time to review and select the linens for the wedding. Measurements and Wedding Linens

One of the most critical things to get right with your when considering renting wedding linen rentals is the measurements of the tables and chairs. Measurements effect how long or short the linens are which in turn easily affects the design of the entire room. Because linens can be such an integral part of the design of the wedding reception, it is important to make sure the measurements are carefully calculated.

One of the reasons it’s so important to take measurements and be sure that they are correct is because of the relationship between the size of the tables and the tablecloths. The tablecloths are an incredible way to make a complete effect on the design of the room. Tablecloths are important visually because there are typically several dozen in the reception gathering room. It’s important to know the exact dimensions of the table so you can not only make sure that it is covered but also sure that the overhang drops over the table as much as you want.

Another reason that it’s critical to know the furniture measurements is because of the chair covers. You must know the dimensions of the chairs to be able to have a chair cover that will cover the entire chair. It’s always important to cover the entire chair when the chairs are foldable and rental. Having chair cover rentals that compliment the table linens is one of the best way to bring your entire design together.

Another important thing to consider when dealing with wedding linens is the color and type of linen available. Many people fail to realize that there are numerous colors, shades and patterns of wedding linen rentals to choose from. Knowing the colors and shade of the linen that will fit your design can assure that the linens themselves will fit into the event theme the way you want it to.

A big mistake some people make when dealing with wedding linens is not giving enough time to the research and actually the wedding linen rentals you fell will meet your needs. Another important aspect is to make sure that the linens arrive days before the reception, to take care of any last minute mistakes that could possibly occur.
